It is named after the daughter of the then viceroy who jumped to her death from the cliff when refused permission to marry a local fisherman. The beach has become a famous due to the association of myth and romance. On a moonlit night, the beach look spectacular and people throng the beach to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere. There is also the opportunity to indulge in a number of water sports. If you are a gourmet then there is perhaps no better place than here. The food is very cheap but at the same time extremely delicious. Dona Paula Beach is among the "must visit" beaches in Goa.

 


Anjuna Beach

Anjuna Beach is one of the finest beaches in Goa. It is often referred to as the freak capital of the world and not without reason. The combination of eastern spiritual tradition and the western music and art can be found in this place. This is just the right type of place where you can simply laze around without any hurry or worry.

 

 

Baga Beach

Baga beach is located between two famous beaches, Colva and Calangute. Away from the din and bustle of city life, the beach has a rural ambience with all the the facilities that is available in a city. In this beautiful fishing village you can while away your time on a paddle boat or laze around the beach. Beautiful palm groves are also an attraction of the beach. Baga beach is dotted with some of the best restaurants in Goa and you must grab a bite to enjoy the mouth-watering delicacies. In the night the atmosphere here becomes carnival like. Benaulim Beach

Benaulim Beach is actually a quite fishing village the shores of which is awashed with the waves of the Arabian Sea. This tranquil fishing village is actually an extension of the Colva Beach. The beach is still one of the less visited beaches of Goa and this can be a blessing in disguise. though the evenings and weekends are a bit crowded, yet during the day, this sparsely populated beach will give you the opportunity to lay back and enjoy the warmth of the sun and the splash of the waves.
